Our Mission

The EBPA is a catalytic community organization protecting and promoting a healthy business, professional, and civic environment in the greater Emmitsburg area.

We are here for the:

a. Promotion of higher business standards and better business methods;

b. Education of its members in matters of interest to businesses and professionals in the vicinity of Emmitsburg, Maryland.

The EBPA has been organized to operate exclusively for business league purposes, to that end, the Corporation shall:

1. Encourage gifts, donations, and memorials for the benefit of local business services;

2. Engage in and support fund-raising efforts for special purposes, including endowments;

3. Sponsor local community events and/or activities;

4. Create opportunities for citizens to volunteer their assistance locally and county wide;

5. Engage in such other activities as are necessary or convenient to the accomplishment of the Corporation’s purpose
